This is the du'a mentioned by Ustadz Iqbal during last week's Tarawih session:

Allahumma maghfiratuka au-sa-'u min dzunuubii, wa rahmatuka arjaa 'indii min 'amalii

"Oh Allah, Your Forgiveness is more vast than my sins, and I have more hope in Your Mercy than in my own deeds."

Gracious is Allah to His servants: He gives Sustenance to whom He
pleases: and He has power and can carry out His Will.
(Asy-Syuura - Verse 19)

Transliteration:
Allahu lateefun bi `ibaadihi yarzuqu man-yashaa-u wa huwa-l-qawwiyu-l-azeez

Read this ayat 40 times in Ramadan and 3 times in other months for
increase in blessings in all forms of sustenance.  This ‘amal can be
done anytime.

We wish you a blessed Ramadhan. May Allah Bless you with good health and taufeeq to fast, pray, recite the Holy Quran, do charity and lots and lots of every good deed in this sacred month.

May you be from those whom Allah has chosen for His special gifts. Ameen.

NOTICE: USTADZ MOHD IQBAL WOULD NOT BE IN SINGAPORE DURING 'EID AS HE IS TRAVELLING TO SAUDI ARABIA FOR 'UMRAH, INSYA ALLAH.

UPDATE: Ustadz Iqbal will be in Singapore during Eid, as he will be returning from Umrah before the end of Ramadhan, Insya Allah.

There will be a Majlis Zikrullah held on Friday 11th June 2010 at our centre (16, Jalan Yasin). Here is the programme on that day:

1800 hrs - Recital of Qasidah Burdah

1830 hrs - Recital of Mawlid Ad-Daiba'ie

1915 hrs - Maghrib Prayer in congregation

1940 hrs - Tahlil and Du'a Selamat

2030 hrs - Isya' Prayer in congregation

2045 hrs - End of Programme / Dinner

Ustadz Iqbal will be speaking in English at a forum held on this Saturday evening. The event will begin with a Mawlid recital after Maghrib prayers, and the forum will commence after Isya' prayers, Insya Allah.
